About Little Steps Spanish

Little Steps Spanish was created with a clear purpose:
to introduce children to Spanish in a way that is early, intentional, and built for long-term impact.

In the early years of development, children have a unique ability to absorb language naturally. Yet many programs at this stage prioritize exposure without structure—missing the opportunity to build a true foundation.

Little Steps Spanish was designed to do both.

A Thoughtful Beginning

Hi, I’m Raul, the founder of Little Steps Spanish.

My background spans both healthcare and education, including a bachelors degree in nursing and a master’s in bilingual education earned while studying in Spain. Through both my academic training and personal experience, I developed a deep understanding of how children acquire language—and how often that process is approached without intention.

As I thought about what I would want for my own child, it became clear:

Early exposure matters—but only when it’s done correctly.

Why We Built This

Little Steps Spanish was built on the belief that children deserve more than casual exposure to a second language.

They deserve:

  • structure that supports real learning

  • repetition that builds confidence

  • and an environment designed for how young minds actually develop

Our program blends these elements into a guided experience where children are not pressured, but steadily supported as they begin to recognize, understand, and engage with Spanish.

What This Means For Your Child

This approach allows children to:

  • develop early familiarity with Spanish in a natural way

  • build confidence hearing and responding to the language

  • establish a foundation that supports future fluency

Our Standard

At Little Steps Spanish, every class is designed with intention.

From the structure of each session to the way language is introduced and repeated, our goal is to provide an experience that feels engaging for children—but is grounded in a deeper educational purpose that parents can trust.

A Foundation That Grows With Them

We believe that the right introduction to language can shape how a child thinks, learns, and connects with the world.

Little Steps Spanish is not simply a class.
It is the beginning of that foundation.
